In the preparation for the final examination paper for MGT5000, which will be on the Feb 11, 2007, you are advised to concentrate on module 7 to module 12. That gives you about 5 chapters to look at. First thing, take a look at the format of the examination paper. The MGT5000 is divided into 3 sections. Section 1 consist of 10 multiple choice questions giving you 10% of the marks only. This means that you can only spend 10 minutes on this section.
Section 2 consist of a case study which you have to answer 3 compulsory questions and is worth 50% of the marks. You need to spend about 1 hour on this section as the major marks are here. Section 3 consists of 3 short discussion questions, of which you need to pick two, worth 40% of the marks which means you have to spend 40 minutes on this area.
The timing for each section is important as it is essential that you complete all sections in time. Most students failed because they could not complete all the sections. The moment you left out one or two questions, your chances of passing this paper drops to 50% and less. So it is absolutely necessary that you planned your time properly for this paper well ahead of time.
